Bab 35: Chapter 32 It's Time

Qing Yu met Li Pingsheng again, his complexion still pale, but now there was a tinge of color.

"Looks like your injury has stabilized. How have you been resting, Family Head Li?" Qing Yu sat down at the tea table, brewing tea for himself as he spoke.

With a spinal injury, Li Pingsheng was completely unable to sit up and could only lie in bed. He remained silent, utterly ignoring Qing Yu. Understandable, given Qing Yu had ruined his family and left him penniless.

Qing Yu didn't mind at all and continued speaking, "You don't have to glare at me. It seems you've been awake for a while now, and with your current physical condition, although you've lost control of your body, biting your tongue to commit suicide is still an option. What, still waiting for a chance to kill me and avenge your wife and son?"

"Or, perhaps," Qing Yu drew out his words, "you're afraid to die!"
