Bab 28: epilogue
Not All Goodbyes Are Forever // It Always Will Be You
I had already said my goodbyes to Alex last month when he moved out. It was a hard moment that I didn't expect to feel again ten times as worse the next month.
I could feel the depression creeping up my spine. I fear I might lose it once again after he's gone. Without Ashton or Alex, I don't have a rock anchoring me down to keep me from relapsing.
My senior year was starting in a few months and so was college for Ashton and Alex. Due to our different schedules, we won't be able to see each other as often, but it was expected.
I'm stood outside watching Ashton place his last box in his car before turning to face me. I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but it was much too late to keep that as a tear slides down my cheek. I make no move to wipe it away because I know it won't be my last.
"Whatever happens, just know that you'll always hold my heart, nobody could take that away from you."
"Then why do I feel like you are?" The sadness in his eyes is evident as he peers down at me.
"I'm in love with you. I'm not giving my heart to anyone else." He says softly reassuring me, brushing the hair out of my eyes.
I find comfort in his words but I still have doubts weighing me down.
"Please don't forget about me." I fret. I felt like I was being abandoned by the two most important people in my life. I know that it's only temporary, but I feel as if it'll last a lifetime.
"I won't, I promise. And I'm not leaving forever." He bends down to kiss me and I instantly wrap myself in his embrace. I couldn't stop the tears flowing from my eyes from what is to come.
"I love you." I look up at him breaking the kiss.
"I love you." He says back wiping his thumb under my eyes and kissing my forehead before leaving for his car. He waves when he's seated and I give a small one back.
I watch as he drives away leaving me at the curb alone by my car. I do not know what lies ahead for me, but I do hope that Ashton is there by my side along with me.

Autumn_Equinox
Autumn_Equinox I never thought I would get this far in writing a book. I came up with this idea about a year back and I never really cared to start writing it until a couple months ago.
I am looking for ideas for chapters that I can put in at the end, anything in chapters 21 and 25 will be great. I know that I rushed the book towards the end at the last few chapters and I wanted to add more so it would even out a little.
Thank you to everyone who took time to read my book even though I know it was that great.
