Rhea led the way to the building where they had the artifacts. Although surprised at the amount of emotion shown by Arras when he was told about the letter, Rhea accepted that such information could solve a question long unanswered.
A group of heads popped up as soon as Rhea opened the door. Their smiles froze as Arras walked in behind her.
Hoffman recovered quickly, “Mr. Mordhas, welcome! Have you come to see the letter we uncovered today?”
“I would very much like to see it,” Arras said. His gaze fell to Rhea. “Rhea said she would show it to me.”
As if by magic, everyone parted to let Arras and Rhea approach the letter.
“Would you like us to translate it for you?” Andrew stepped forward confidently.
“I know the language,”Arras stopped him with a stare. “I can read it myself.”
“Would you like us to give you some time alone?” Rhea asked.
She paused as Arras looked back at her, thinking she had gone too far, but the dark eyes were not angry, just thankful.
