This wasn't even a fight, it was practically a one-sided beating. At every moment, Marco was shouting that they would regret this and all the typical phrases of those powerful people. The mess ended up waking Kayden up.

"Crap?" Kayden blurted out in surprise and made everyone stop to look at him. The three hoped that Kayden would step in on Marco's behalf, while the silver-haired teen hoped that he would receive some help.

Kayden first wondered how poorly guarded this place was and soon the answer appeared in his mind. Probably the powerful just let the new generation solve their problems and grow through conflicts.

"Don't worry about me, just continue whatever you're doing," Kayden sat down and went back to cultivating, leaving everyone disconcerted by the situation. This was not even remotely a normal reaction.
