Bab 158: The Agony of Mind 9

Lily blinked as she felt the warmth of the morning light hitting her face. Her gaze fell on the large window next to her bed. Lily's hand then fingered beside her. There was no one beside her, and Lily finally sighed.

Matthew, watching Lily from the dressing room door frame, smiled crookedly. He then strolled and walked over to Lily on the bed. Matthew moved slowly behind Lily and immediately ambushed her.

Lily softly laughed when she realized Matthew had already wrapped his arms around her. "You said you were going to your father's office today?"

Matthew buried his face in the crook of Lily's neck. He then took a deep breath of Lily's scent. "Smelling your scent makes me unwilling to go to the office."

Lily immediately patted Matthew's arm. "Go away. Help your father. He must be pleased that you will help him."
