Bab 151: The Agony of Mind 2

"It's okay, Matt. It's nothing," said Lily. She tried to calm Matthew, who looked devastated to see her condition.

"I knew this was going to happen. I'm sorry I followed my desire last night. I should have held it back," said Matthew.

"I'll be angry with you if you hold your desires continuously. We both know if we want it," said Lily.

Matthew paused and took a deep breath. He kept his head down next to Lily. Matthew couldn't bear to see Lily's body covered in bruises after they made love last night. He didn't realize that his desire could be disastrous for Lily.

"I won't touch you again, Lily," Matthew muttered.

"Stop right there," Lily interrupted sharply. "Look at me, Matt."

Matthew shook his head slowly.

"Look. At. Me."

Lily's firm words made Matthew slowly lift his head. But only for a moment when Matthew looked at Lily, he lowered his head again. Lily grabbed Matthew's chin and forced him to look into Lily's eyes.
