Bab 227: Chapter 227: The Gloves

It was imbued with a strange, sinister energy that slowly began to seep into their bodies, sapping their strength and making their movements sluggish.

Jin Mu was the first person to notice and asked them to enter the ruins.

But to their bad luck, the moment they ran towards the ruin, they triggered some mechanism and ended up falling into a dungeon-like place. 

For an entire day, all three of them faced many challenges.

By the time they reached the last room, all three were bruised, battered, and exhausted. Their clothes were torn, and Gu Jin's arm was bleeding from a trap they had barely managed to avoid.

"Look," Jin Mu whispered, pointing toward the far end of the room.

An altar stood at the center of the room, illuminated by a faint glow.

It was the only source of light in the chamber, casting an ethereal sheen over the strange symbols carved into the stone walls.
