Bab 77: Affection l

Back in the servant's quarters, Louisa was having such a time. From laughing her gut out to the consistent riddles and jokes that riled up the mood in the air, to trying out the various dishes that were available on the menu. So far, Louisa had forgotten the previous event of Rochester asking out of his presence. With all her eyes were seeing along with the spices hitting her nose, she could not regret it now. She had made the best decision of coming to that side at all.

"Ms. Hazel, um, I didn't think you could survive being in such a place."

"And why not?" said Louisa as she cracked up a bout of resounding laughter.

The men at the front were doing the 'boat trolling leg step'.

The dancefloor where the men were having a swell time was an elevated platform in the centre of the large hall.
