Bab 2538: Rebirth

The air boiled with turmoil.

The atmosphere tingled electrically. 

Ieyasu's stoic gaze remained fixed on a meditating Rui.

He radiated unfathomable peril and power even as he meditated with deep peace and serenity.

The time was nigh.

The moment had nearly arrived.

Including the nine months that they had spent inside the manifold before the Human Summit, they had spent nearly seven years inside with Rui grinding away endlessly for Project Forge. 

It was the single longest continuous project that he had ever undertaken in his entire life. It was the longest training session he had ever persevered through.

Over the past seven years or so, he had developed a foundational mastery in many, many fields. Because he wasn't demanding high mastery out of each individual field, he was able to cover countless  fields, becoming an extremely dynamic all-rounder.
