After he left, I called a meeting to discuss the new intel and go over the documented evidence. We spent the next three days visiting the packs, searching their lands for our children. Liora and Aeliana asked to join my pack, and we accepted immediately. They enchanted some earrings, giving each member a pair, allowing us to mind link each other no matter the distance. It's a spell that only Pomona knows, since she created it and taught Liora.

We tried using different powerful locating spells, but we were blocked each time. The frustration and helplessness were almost too much to bear, each failure another blow to our already fraying nerves. Every time we thought we had a lead, it slipped through our fingers like smoke, leaving us with nothing but despair.
