Ulva narrowed her eyes at Margery. She continued staring at the now-closed door for a few more minutes before a sigh left her lips.
The reason why she chose Margery was that she was but a naive little girl. She didn't come from a strong maternal family and was easily flustered by huge events.
She recalled Margery and the King's meeting for the first time. Margery blushed so much that she looked like a tomato.
But this wasn't the only reason why she chose her.
Ulva chose Margery because she didn't have a dominant personality on the outside yet scheming on the inside. With this, the other women in this harem couldn't get too close to the King. She was the exact opposite of Matthew's mother.
However, Margery had changed.
The woman that Ulva once knew was now gone into thin air. Right now, Margery is this strong Queen who had ruled along with her husband for decades.
And this was Ulva's first mistake.
