WARNING R18
He rested his forehead against hers.
She composed herself before she stared into the depths of his eyes. Her breathing wasn't as fast as it was earlier.
His eyes were focused on her lips. For a moment, she thought he would kiss her. But he didn't. Instead, he held her shoulders as if he wanted to steady her, to calm her down.

She was the one who insisted to listen.
Why was she reacting as if she believed everything that woman said?
Perhaps the fact that she told her she wasn't supposed to be here hit her sore spot. She already grew up without a mother and a mysterious father that she couldn't even remember without her dreams.
Now, someone just told her that she wasn't meant to exist.
Or maybe it was the fact that a part of her really believed what the woman said. She thought of other possibilities. Then her brain could only come up with one.
