Bab 190: Empty Space

Matthew was sleeping on the desk.

Slowly, Ava realized that this wasn't the room at the mansion. This one was bigger, wider. And the view outside was different.

She walked towards Matthew. She was dreaming and maybe he was dreaming too. But why was she here?

She wasn't thinking about him. She was trying to train her soul.

Or maybe she was thinking about him?

Ava continued staring at his handsome face. While sleeping, Matthew looked peaceful. His face looked calm.

She quite liked it.

She extended her arm. She wanted to touch his face. Though Matthew wouldn't feel it.

"I miss you — " she uttered.

But just before her hand could reach his face, he opened his eyes. His pupils were golden.

Ava gasped. She jumped back, surprised at the intensity of his gaze.

Why does it feel like… he could see her?
