Bab 456: Confrontation with Nero 2

The Alpha gritted his teeth. He wanted to say more, but after reading the atmosphere inside the room, he decided to back down.

Ava was very good at twisting his words. Speaking more would only upset the rest of the group and would surely make them more suspicious. Clearly, the woman came out prepared.

"Do you want to say something?" Ava lifted her chin. Slowly, a smirk appeared on her face. "I am listening." This time, she was clearly taunting him. He had no time for this.

"With all due respect, Miss Woods…"

"She is our Queen. Calling her Miss Woods is not only disprespecting her but to the other Lycans," Drigo suddenly chimed in. He had been standing a few feet away from Ava, listening to the conversation. "Are you saying that you and the others do not respect our Queen?"

"That- " Trystan gritted his teeth. Drigo became the King, but he soon gave the seat to Matthew and Ava. Obviously, he didn't understand this and even looked down at Drigo.
