Kace just couldn't wrap his head around it yet, so he chose to ignore that fact. 

"I know." Kace's answer was a low but deep grumble as he averted his gaze toward the city landscape before his eyes, letting the sunlight bath his body. 

And then, came the sound of light footsteps with which Kace was way too familiar and before her small figure appeared, her scent had managed to appease the raging anxiety that started to brew inside him.

"Wolf!" Hope called out for Kace as she hugged his legs. "Let's go to school!" She grinned at him, flashing her tiny teeth.
