Bab 2: THE NEW BEGINNING

As the moment of his birth approached, John felt a surge of anticipation mixed with the lingering questions about the sudden and brutal end he had met in his previous life on Earth. The memories of that fateful night still haunted him, and the confusion in his eyes as his life was abruptly taken replayed in his mind.

The day arrived when John, reborn into this mystical realm, took his first breath. The cries of a newborn echoed in the air, and as he opened his eyes, he was met with a world vastly different from the one he had left behind on Earth.

The room was adorned with beautiful paintings depicting mythical creatures, and humans. As he inhaled a very familiar smell reached his nose, the room was filled with the thick scent of herbs and medicines.

He could see a maid giving him to a woman who had unworldly beauty with delicate skin and gorgeous black hair.

John could recognize the woman at first glance because of the familiar feelings he felt toward her, the woman was Sophia Knowen his mother who had carried him for 9 months in her womb. He could see the smile on his mother's face as she got hold of him. Just as she got hold of John she hurriedly embraced him. John felt very familiar with her embrace and seeing her affection tears began to form in his eyes and he started crying as he realized that finally he had someone who would care for him.

As John was cradled in his mother's arms, he noticed a handsome man with otherworldly charm gently watching him. John could deduce that the man was Alakh Knowen and his father in this new world.

Watching his affectionate eyes, John suddenly smiled, and recognizing the small gesture tears began to form in his mother's eyes while happiness filled his father's face.

Suddenly a commotion broke outside the room as hundreds of people marching in knight's uniform made a queue outside the room. When the queue parted few men and women wearing luxurious and intricate robes could be seen walking in the middle of the queue.

In the lead, an old man with a very remarkable presence could be seen rushing toward the room, and even though the old man was rushing he excluded a very noble aura of grace and dignity. The old man was Nestor Knowen, the head of one of the most powerful and respected families in Brahman, the Knowen family. The family is known for their wisdom and kindness.

Behind the old man were the most important and influential members of the family and as they reached the room everyone came to a halt and happiness filled their faces. Nestor grabbed John out of his father's hand and raised him in the air showing him to the people outside and announced with a deep voice that the child's name would be Alex Knowen.

As Nestor announced the name suddenly the sky filled with fireworks to the extent that the sun could not be seen. Unnatural phenomena started happening everywhere in Brahman.

The Brahman trembled with the roars of dragons and new life budded everywhere. Even the most desolate place in Brahman showed signs of rejuvenation. Just as suddenly it happened it stopped as such when Alex closed his eyes to sleep.

In the following months, John grew accustomed to the peculiarities of Brahman. He observed dragons soaring through the skies, majestic phoenixes dancing in flames, and beings with unimaginable powers casually strolling through the vibrant landscapes.

It was a realm where the supernatural was the norm, and science as he knew it on Earth was replaced by the intricate weave of magic.

As John's physical body developed, so did his understanding of the world around him. He learned about the different races that inhabited Brahman, each with its unique abilities and histories.

The once-ordinary man from Earth was now immersed in the beauty of magic, myth, and wonder.

After Alex became one year old, Alex exhibited unusual signs of magical affinity. Tiny sparks of energy danced around his fingers when he reached for colorful butterflies, and his laughter echoed in harmony with the melodic tunes of unseen creatures.

His mother, well-versed in the ways of Brahman, recognized the unique energy within him and gently nurtured his magical abilities while taking care of him.

His days were spent exploring the enchanted woods, where ancient trees whispered tales of times long past. Creatures, unseen by ordinary eyes, regarded him with a knowing gaze, recognizing a unique essence within the curious child.

He learned to summon small illusions, make flowers bloom at will, and communicate with the ethereal beings that inhabited the mystical forest. John now embraced his new identity as Alex and enjoyed his time with his family. He felt the love and care he could never dream of in his previous life.

Sophia and Alakh encouraged him in his discovery of the world through the forest. He spent time playing with his aunt and grandfather whenever he was bored. As the heir of the Knowen family, he had access to so many spells and ancient books that he was always discovering more about magic.

He loved his life very much as he had no responsibilities and a family that could complete his wishes at a command.

At the age of three, Alex's magical prowess expanded beyond mere conjuring. He discovered an innate connection with the elements that governed Brahman. Water obeyed his gentle command, forming playful shapes in the air, and flames flickered in response to his laughter.
