I then continued to cultivate for the next 1 hour and 40 minutes and was only able to form 5 more Dragon Marks. It seems that every time my cultivation base increases, it becomes harder to form the Dragon marks as they are stronger in power.
I walked out of the room to Xia Lu patiently waiting for me outside.
The second I came out he said," Master, I have prepared what you asked for, please follow me."
I nodded and followed him down a specific path and was eventually led to a room with all types of beasts around.
There were plenty of beasts around, all which had multiple wounds on their body.
"Master, I was able to get 48 Early-Foundation Establishment Realm Demonic Beasts. I was not able to get any of the higher ranks as these are almost all the high realmed beats in the forest nearby. I also have about 100 Peak-Qi Condensation realm monsters in a nearby room master." Xia Lu explained.
"Bring me to the room where the Qi Condensation demonic beasts are." I told him.
When I went in, I pressed on the Dragon Transformation Method, and an EXP bar popped up. This is 1 more use of the system.
That was to lead EXP into skills to level them up.
I then killed a Qi-Condensation demonic beast with a sword which Xia Lu passed to me, and the exp bar moved about 2%. After killing about 50, the skill leveled up.
[The Dragon Marked Method is now level 2, it will take half the time and Qi for the host to advance in cultivation realms now. Additional benefits will be gained at higher levels.]
Then I killed 1 more Qi-Condensation demonic beast but the EXP bar did not move even a bit.
It seemed that the EXP gain was too insufficient for the EXP to be shown.
I then decided to just put the EXP into leveling up for now and killed all the demonic beasts.
In total, I had gained 45 levels. Was that a lot? No. The game I played in the previous world had characters at thousands of levels, and that was common in the higher ranks. It was not that difficult to level up as long as monsters that give EXP existed.
Leveling up quickly is fairly easy for me, since I know all about the system's loopholes, however, the problem wasn't that. Stats is clearly more important in this world since I am the only one who can level up in this world.
I then decided to learn a Martial Art as well, to increase my combat power. The second I thought that, I remembered something else.
The Sword Saint Job Chain Quest. A job which every swordsman dreams of.
The Job quest only starts at level 50, at that level, one can decide their Job, and depending on what they pick will gain more stats in specific stats.
For swordsmen, it is Strength, Agility and Sense. Unfortunately stamina was not one of them but that can be raised through the free stat point given every level up.
I then decided to put 9 stat points into sense and 6 into intelligence bringing them both up to 10.
I also decided to experiment a little. For every Dragon Mark I made I got 1 stat in Strength, Stamina and Agility and 10 in Qi.
So I did the same with my free stat points to see if another Dragon Mark would appear or not.
And they did not! This to me was a good thing, this meant that I can have higher stats without speeding my cultivation up, and still gain the stat points from the Dragon Marks.
Anyway, I put my remaining stat into luck, and this was the stats I had ended up with.

Now some might ask why I did not put EXP into my manipulation skill…that was because it is a unique skill, and unique skills cannot be leveled up the same way as normal skills.
I am not sure how to level up Manipulation yet as when I created the skill it was meant to be at its maximum level, but I do know that the number of people I can manipulate will increase as long as my cultivation base increases.
(Authors note: As of right now, it is still 3, and keep in mind that Unique Skills can only level up till level 3)
I then continued to cultivate until I eventually broke through into the Mid-Qi Refinement Stage. This is probably considered extremely fast for normal cultivators, but I believe that it is to be expected of a person with a system.
I decided to sleep for the night, and continue where I left off tomorrow morning.

The next morning, Jiang Chen moved into the Xia Merchant Organization and passed 100 [Lesser-Dragon Pills], and a [Talent Enhancing Pill].

Now this is something I need.
According to Xia Lu, the Fire Fist sect will look at 3 things. Just like I predicted, they will look at a person's age, talent and current cultivation.
They will take in people with a minimum talent of 2 or if they have Foundation Establishment cultivation level.
This is because if one is at the Foundation Establishment, they can still be cannon fodder at the battle field.
I want to at least reach Foundation Establishment and have a talent of 4 flashes before the sect people came over.
When I told this to Jiang Chen, he frowned a little, but said that if we rushed, we would be able to do this in 2 weeks, which is when I predicted the sect people would come over.
According to him, reaching the Foundation Establishment cultivation levels won't be a problem because with the Dragon Transformation Method, there is no such thing as bottle-necks until we reach higher cultivation realms, and as long as we have resources we should be able to cultivate quickly, the problem is the talent flashes.
He said that he would wander around the forests nearby and see if he could find something to help us.
When he said this, I knew he would be able to finish it. With his ridiculous luck value, it would be weird if he couldn't.
