Persie sat up excitedly when the food arrived. He put the plate on his lap and ate with Cole. Evander looked at them, then looked away. After a moment of thought, he asked, "Persie, what's the project you'll be working on?"

Persie replied, "I don't know."

Evander responded, "If you don't want to tell me, it's fine."

Persie rolled his eyes at Evander's perpetual ability to make himself look like a victim. Cole's eyes flashed with amusement.

"He doesn't know; I didn't tell him the details," Cole clarified.

They all looked at Cole, surprised, except for Luke. Demetrius asked, "He's working on your project?"

Cole answered, "He is. My team has been stagnating lately, and I'm sure Persie will be able to help. He'll work at the headquarters for a few weeks."
