Bab 112: Spoiled (1)

"It is a small town, about four days ride from here named Nox after a great lord who lived there a long time ago. We don't actually live in the town. We live in the mountain area so we have space to take care of our animals and we normally ride into town when we are ready to sell an animal or vegetables we have grown. Did I do something wrong already?" Annalise asked, feigning a panicked look.

Should she have knocked hard enough to break the door or stomped on the floor as she entered his room? Why couldn't he just accept the fact he was more tired than he realised and that was why he failed to notice her right away?

"No," Rafael said to stop her from worrying. It was a matter of him failing to be more aware. "Continue what you were doing."
