"I am ready to talk," Heidi said, sitting up. She had enough time to lay around and think about where she would go from here with Annalise. "Thank you for giving me time. Now that I know this, it all makes sense why you never seemed to understand what you could or couldn't do. Some rules that a small child should know, you didn't know."
"There are too many rules here I had to learn. Then all of you tend to bend those rules to your liking and it confuses me. I didn't have much knowledge of what I shouldn't do until I left home," Annalise answered.
"I thought you just like to give trouble and did things without thinking. I questioned why you were so relaxed around the Callahans and their guests. I also thought because you lived on a farm you wouldn't have come across nobles to know how to act around them. Now I know. If anyone had been suspicious about you, would you have killed them?" Heidi asked. What if it was her to think something was suspicious about Annalise?
