Bab 90: Final Trials Part 24- Changes and Annoyances
In the Giant dining room where once everyone freely talked and shared their piece of mind was changed to a silent depressing atmosphere.
After Zash begun explaining the news he obtained Zash told the people what he had come to find out after paying the Demons a visit and after many a questionings Zash confirmed their truthfulness and potentially laid it out front that their old God's were Dead and had left them.
Quite similar to the Demon commander at the time they were also quite stunned to hear about the death of their gods which confused Zash.
"So you all didn't know about this ?"
"O f course Not ! If we knew any of this why would we continue praying to our god's ?" Edwin said flustered not knowing what to say.
"Those bast*** clergies and priests may know something but of course all they're interested in is wealth. Makes sense that this information is not public" Estr refuted his words getting a approval from many sides.
"Still can't it be a misunderstanding ? Maybe... Maybe they'll return with the re-emergence of Magic.. shouldn't they ?" Edwin's father said hoping to stay optimistic.
"That's out of the question when I was there with the Demons they clearly stated that the ceremony is from calling god's to bear witness and it got no response from them so it's out of the question and their responses along with their Auras cannot be faked." Zash sill confirmed the authenticity of the news.
"But they're still Demons can they be fully trusted ?" Hausa said still in doubt.
"Why gives a sh** what does God's absence or presence means anything ?" Zash's spoke questioning why they were do worked up over it.
"How can you say they Epis ! Gods are our Creators, they guide us, we bear our faith with them-" Edwin said quite angered at how lightly Epis was making this out to be before he could say any more Zash rebutted in going.
"Ok then just remember that all throughout your Lifetimes with the absence of God's presence you've lived till this point with no involvement of Supernatural phenomenon, you've made your own lives so what does their life and death matterd to you all ?" Shaking his head disapprovingly Zash kept going.
"Such a Weak Mentality."
"Still Epis while I agree with you statements, if such information is spread it will spread widespread Chaos." Estr said giving the situation a few moments taught.
"Who gives a shit about them I'd rather let those fools die out if it means you all get to live and with the new era at passing huge Kingdoms and Empires are hard to defend anyways, if all agrees I can take you to the Demon's Stronghold they're pretty good people if you put your differences aside, they're quite understanding from the first impression they get straight to the point and deal with the problems,
from my prospective they respect powerful individuals very much at least I think so from my observations, if you replace they with a Human tribe I'm sure you'll be respected and revered by half but sooner or later they'll try to make use of your skills and power eventually some will fear you, while some might wish to end you for whatever reason going through their stupid minds,
For that very reason I would like to hear your opinions on what to do so later on and I wouldn't blame any of you for whatever decision you choose but you must also consider that there's only so much I can do and many a problems must arrive so before continuing I will present you all win three opinions.
1: stage our disappearance with timely manner and appoint a good leader and let him do what he feels right while we prepare by ourselves for the coming age because at that time no place will be safe.
2: similar to the previous option it involves us leaving our Empire but joining the Demon's side as that is more desirable for they're natives and know a lot about the problems we might Face if any, so there's a decent chance of our families surviving.
3: Make ourselves Allies with Demons and convince our Empire to start building strong relationships with the Demons and other races while remaining Passive with others... I have other plans for that situations as well and while I propose the idea it's not going to Be 'EASY' by any means so we must stay vigilant with many a such matters and many a judgement systems must also change and ..." Explaining away Zash presented the people present with every right to vote, even the Guards we allowed to choose and voice their opinions with their leaders as this was not only for their Rulers but also for their families,
Never once had they thaught that such important matters would be put in effect in their lives and that too by their youngest Family's Lord but here they were each moments debate continuing on for a few minutes but these minutes seem to drag on forever due to the gravity of the situation.
When Epis taking a break from the chatter went to Epis's side grasping his first clenched his movement as caught by the debating people as he was looked upon from one eye while they still remained in discussion.
"So Epis"
"Yes big brother ?" Zash got up lazily still quite tired, making some space on the sofa for Estr to sit.
"So from the first and second options is it safe to assume that our Empires along with Many Innumt lives will be lost ?" Estr finally asked what was plaguing his mind.
"Yes, innumerable is just a statement I myself will fail to depict the carnage that's about to happen when all the Monstrosities will be unleashed and the amount of human errors which might aid in its development. If a good leader is appointed maybe a small or a Major portion will survive form the initial outbreak, still it's hard to consider."
"Can. CAN I become that leader ?" Estr's words instantly forced all attention towards him.
"No" Zash replied instantly without a single taught.
"Why ?! I am a good leader I've proved that haven't I ? If I can Humanity even a little bit-"
"That's a worthy life for you, right ? I know and thatt the exact reason for my disapproval, you see the exact reason I wish to protect you and Father and teach is due to this you and Father are both similar yet still different yet you are both the Exact definition of the Word 'Heroes' but you see a hero is a symbol of hope and a Ruler is a Guiding pathmaker, he must bear the losers if his/her subjects, abandon love and stay conflicted with his inner circle of nobility it's simply a nerve-wracking job only suitable for those that are greedy to achieve something and go down in history for whatever reason or to those that simply wish to be above someone else and yada yada yada you must get what I'm trying to say right ?" Meeting Estr and Edwin in their eyes Zash was as if telling them to not even consider giving it a taught.
Havier too clenched her fist tightly letting go of those painful thaughts.
"..."Estr still wishing to say something but he just.. couldn't
"Still you still have the second option where you can become the Emperor if all things go right and there's father to teach you, given enough time you must trust to put reasonings before Emotions still keep it fresh and live as yourself don't take bull***t from anyone you hear me." Zash's words immediately sparked up as Estr remembered the Third option Epis had presented as that was still available to him.
"Little brother I must ask, do you not desire to be the Emperor ?" Estr asked couldn't believing at the huge opportunity Zash was letting go of if he was allowed to be a Emperor he might just do Everything perfectly.
"No I don't, it's too Much for for me and I suggest you have some kids of your own with Teach there, just the Idea of your death worries her so much, shouldn't you worry for her if something ?" Zash pointed out in a soft voice stunning and embarrassing the due when their eyes met.
While everyone looked over hearing Zash's conversation they too got interested seeing the situation between Havier and Estr both were a good match and couldn't help but wish to pry and get to know about their matter.
"Seriously Epis, I sometimes don't understand you I have noticed you trying to evert attention from he questions," looking in his eyes Estr asked with deep concerns.
"Is is that you wish not to or you can't."
"That's a tricky question, Both the reasons combined yet I'll still refrain from being the leading figure that's too much work for me and I'd rather not. In that note have you all reached the conclusion ?"
"I choose the third option."Estr
"I choose the Second option, I can live with that rather than live with uncertainty for my family's lives" Edwin's Father
"I too choose the second option, it's easy to live with strangers than to lose my family."
"I choose the Third Option" Edwin said with a slight understand nudge towards his parents making them cry with understanding
"I choose the Third option as well" Havier said without a second thaught
"I ....
After much opinions the Third option was voiced by many People in cohesive agreement
"Looks like it's decided. Sorry but it looks like you will be quite busy from now on Son." Edwin said shaking his head feeling a tad bit embarrassed to leave all the responsibility on his youngest child.
"As I said there is no need to apologize, if anything I feel like the world will lose a lot of good things if foo- good people like you are lost due to stupid reason, anyways I hope you all are prepared, if not start relaxing as things are about to get chaotic in the near future, so start enjoying the present clamness." Zash said while hurriedly walking out after a moment before getting out of site he shouted
"Oh ahem* and sorry for my lack of manners you might want to change the covers as I haven't had a good bath in days so get someone to sort it out, meanwhile I'll go take a bath now." And waved his hand to the people behind.
"Did- did he just meant to call us fools ?" Edwin asked skeptically looking at his eldest son and looked back at his parents who were just left shaking their heads,
Luckily fort hem, they felt that he had such a blessed Grandson while one did take after their own Son he too had talent and plenty of room for improvement.
"He was surely joking right ?" Estr asked bushing Havier's elbow to which she just smiled.
"... You don't think I am a fool too right ? "

"Ugh" Estr was left speechless thinking ' why are Women so complicated.' :'(
If a man was in her place he'd just put his faults out in front of him, no need to twist words and whatnot he might get yelled at but at least he'd understand what is wrong in the case and scenario.

It was soon starting to get Dark as the Sunshine started to dim down the Mountainous terrains became more scenic until it become completely dark from the surroundings the rocky sides on top of the Mountains seemed to turn into charcoal absorbing the moonlight hence acting as the perfect Natural defensive point for the city while Heavily armoured Petroling Knights kept watch from every key positions.
Tough there was still a vast difference as the moonlight was absorbed by the outer sides of the Mountains the inside of the Mountainous City and it's pathways were constructed by Marvelous stones which absorbed and shone the moonlight around making everything dazzlingly visible and adding beauty in the surroundings after that, the cold air, the dew in the atmosphere, the occasional cherps and hums form birds and insects along with the pleasing smell of Flowers were all adding more and more to the Atmospheric Ambience watching it all Zash remembered The Island and his Wifes almost instantaneously wishing to show them around and speak to them for he had been alone without them for a good period of above 130+ years at least Mentally be needed some comfort and this night on the Mountainous City just did that.
Providing him with comfort and some Necessary Patience on the matter at hand.
Entering the Ball room Zash wasn't much surprised as it wasn't much different from his experience yet the vibes he got from the room were quite pleasant to him unlike concerts and other events Zash liked some Melodic musicals as well.
Unsurprisingly the Ball wasn't Much of a big deal for Zash who was used to all the regular stuff from his home world but only difference was the prying eyes which carried some malicious intent which were confronted by Zash who silently stared back at the origin of those states scaring the ever living sh** out of those people.
Making his grand entrance Zash, Havier and Estr entered side by side, watching Havier besides the Ironheart Brothers people had their own ideas and started to speculate what it might mean and started making a few moves against them,
But all they did was met with the harshest resistance as Zash took care of all the stupid shenigans directed by all those high and mighty people and gave them a slight pat on their shoulders creeping them all out as if he was declaring war against them.
For those kings and Queens who had some knowledge about their statuses and power all were quite respectful towards Edwin and his Sons yet for some reasons they were scared stiff and minded their every action in the presence of Epis Ironheart,
The youngest son of Edwin, in his presence their grand demanour as if diseappearared instantaneously, it was something unique and spiritual endowment of graceful epitome of the Grand almost as if they all had fell from the limelight as soon as the young Prince had shown his presence.
"Excuse me Mr Edwin are you interested in accepting some brides for your sons ?" A lady in red robes asked Edwin as if she knew him from before.
"Ah lady Diana it's complicated, my eldest already has someone he is persuing and he won't be interested in anyone ever it seems, on the other hand my Youngest Son... Is quite unique you see."
"Oh the same one who got up from his Eternal slumber ? Where is he ? I'd like to meet him and I've also got a few grandchildren who can be his potential wife confidantes." Another lady said chiming in on the conversation
For some reasons Edwin had a certain charm around ladies as well, which instantly made him the point of jealousy for any Man and womens, some were just as angry for he chose to be besides his lover and not being in another relationship, which was quite expected from an Emperor yet he still didn't receive and Coronated any Wife's till now,
That alone was enough to amass adoration from plenty of noble ladies whose husbands cheat on them and other ladies who had suffered through similar situations and always held Edwin in high respect
Now it seemed like his Eldest Son is quite similar to him and whoever the lucky one is to marry the Brave young Commander is bound to remain happy, so of course many a Nobles and Queens of various bearings asked for their Grandsons to be friend with them while a few proposed Marriage proposals, because in both ways their girls are getting close to a reliable suitor as a husband all along the while gaining a trustworthy and talented allies, not to mention the Crystal Heart Empire was making some quick progress as of recently, it was only befitting for them to follow with the tides.
"Ah yes you can speak about it to my Son he's right there. Send them his way while we talk, it's been quite a while since I met a few of my acquaintances and friends so please excuse me"
Pointing his finger towards Epis, Edwin looked at the way to escape not wanting to be tied in the ladies talk and searched for some familiar faces.
"Wow it's a wonder how Mother may have fallen for such a Figure." Zash said edging to Estr who didn't know how to respond as he too found his father's irresponsibility appalling.
"Maybe Mother liked just that about him... Why knows, I certainly didn't had enough time to spend with her for the time I was besides her I took it for granted and most of the things I don't even remember as I was too small." Estr sighed and seemed to be lost in his thaughts.
Havier just held Estr's hand without uttering a word as she didn't knew how to comfort him,thick simple action alone was enough to calm the ever swelling bubble of emotions Estr had towards his mother's conditions and wished to continue staying hopeful.
Soon the three of them were surrounded by what seemed to be a tsunami of Women from Youngest to Eldest making Zash wish that he wasn't there for he really hated these annoying moments,
Simply looking at the incoming crowds Zash Cringed inwardly.
Soon came the torrents of questionings, from simple to complex questions and from then on came proposals and so on.
Simply hearing these things made Zash sweaty as these matters while they're easy for him they were quite annoying to say the least.
The Noble Women's of wealthy bearing took pleasure in meeting and talking with the youngest prince, as he was more mature than they had been informed,
'maybe it was due to his body's physical growth' some thaught internally but that was discarded as any 9 years old wouldn't come close to his personality growth, being experienced women they knew that well, due to years of practice.
Mind you some of the women who took the initiative to talk to Zash were Queens and Empresses and similar Noblewomens, who held great power in their own rights, so Zash had to be respectful towards them but that was it, as he wasn't obliged to do anything other than.
As of yet he might've considered alliances with other Empires before but now the thaught was funny in a sense, he alone was enough to Decimate Empires, that too without using his powers by using a borrowed sword but now he didn't need such tactics as he had enough power and that aside his trained soldiers were doing plenty good in their training and making tremendous progress already some even showed qualities matching upper Red Knight standards and they had a good chance to become Black Knights in years to come perhaps they might surpass them,
While normal Black Knights were monsters, being able to take 100,000 People head on Zash's Naval Forces had equipments and tools which provided them with tremendous help and gave them an upper hand in any sort of naval battles, as for land forces Zash had made a few changes but development was still slow as Zash was quite busy with the things happening Zash came up with a few things to help the Knights and Soldiers with some important Tools and Accessories, along with a few sets of new training exercises in plan for them, if course that was going to take a while as he still had to go and make some preparations himself.
'haa* what a drag' thinking so his actions were caught by a few women who doubted themselves as the change in Zash's eyes was only momentarily as Zash quickly kept up with his act.
"My how strange you are little Prince, you are so like your father.'' a Queen said in adoration as she didn't spot the momentarily change in Zash's eyes and even those that did dismissed it as it wasn't possible for a young man like him to change tones and keep acting so naturally and that too for quite a while, when they bombarded the said teen with Numerous Questions, testing his Skills, Abilities and Nature so it was clear to the experienced ones that Epis was the real deal.
"Thank you miss, if I may ask does miss enjoy reading ?" Zash asked while the Queen raised her eyebrow before nodding.
"Great, you might want to read this then, it is a book made by a famous Literaturer, some of you might've read it, his name is 'Zash Eleron' and he is quite famous in our Empire. I don't know if you have heard about him?"
"Of course I have I don't know about other but I for sure know how beautiful his Paintings are so I can imagine how artistic his Literature skills are." Another Empress butted in and expressed her opinions.
"Wait didn't Prince Epis say he's a Literaturer, does he paint as well ?"
"Hmm it's understandable yet Quite sad, that you don't know him." Another queen answered her questions and explained the monstrous being that Zash Eleron was yet they didn't knew how to get in contact with him even asking Epis was futile as he himself didn't know any better.
"Do you really have his book ?" Another lady asked curious to find out what it was that made the said 'Zash Eleron' so Famous, hence she wanted to take a look herself.
"I don't know if I can say that it's over the top as it's a romance novel a Few Nobles were going crazy made bidding on it in the Auction in out Empire's bounds and I'm not perticularly looking for such books, so rather than letting it collect dust in the library I figured it'd make as a good gift." Taking out a slim silk wrapped emerald brown book which was very light and pleasing to look at.
the lady who was first offered this book took it with much care from Zash's hands after taking a slight look at the cover which clearly stated 20+ and Above only she got a idea what kind of book it was and so die the other Noble Ladies, as their faces became bright red, to which Zash feigned confusion and as he was little they couldn't blame it as it was an gift after all, so they all whispered amongst themselves, feeling curious and adament about the contents they excused themselves and went towards a Giant Private Ladies Empty study room leaving Zash alone.
Zash's expression didn't change but in his mind he knew he had scored big and took down time to himself in the balcony as he was constantly surrounded by strong smells of Perfumes he even reeked as some smells clinged on to his clothes and while a few perfumes were quite good and calming their over usage and lasting tenancy had made it quite nauseating to be inside.
While Zash thaught so, one also had to take into account that all of the women only surrounded him and His Father like that, his brother meanwhile was let off as everyone lined up to meet up with him and those ladies that continued pestering him were faced with an Angry Havier who didn't want any annoying bi**** near her first love and now that Zash had pulled of that stunt even those ladies that pestered the both of them retreated with curiosity and didn't return for a while.
Some of the worried Husbands tried to get to the bottom of this but we're immediately thrown out Violently while others did so extremely romantically, didn't know what to make out of the situation the men were left hanging.
