Bab 1196: Aftermath of the Punishment

After the public execution was held by Kyran himself, eradicating two noble houses at once, the entire kingdom returned back to their daily activities. Other than the hot topic of banter, about how Kyran, who was merciful enough to give the traitors a swift death—nothing much has changed.

It didn't seem like the public execution was bothering the citizens.

Contrary to being bothered, the citizens consider this to be a long-awaited punishment.

Both noble houses got what they deserved, and Kyran did the right thing.

Of course—although there was nothing much that changed in their daily activities—there is one evident change. Any Dark Elf, who walked past the Aldri Noble House's mansion, which was outside of the great tree, didn't forget to pay their tribute

A greeting by throwing something towards the guards or the mansion itself out of spite.

Naturally, the guards were overwhelmed as they couldn't do anything.
