Bab 186: Blunder

Tang An waved his hand and asked the waiter behind him to bring up all the food and wine and to proceed to the next segment. 

Xi Wan asked him, "Is this restaurant yours?"

"I just bought it a few days ago." Tang An explained, "I think the dishes made in this restaurant are quite to my taste."

Those present were either unfamiliar with Tang An or had never seen him before. Xi Wan was the first to speak, so the rest of the people remained silent.

Lu Ting sat down next to Lu Zhou. When faced with Lu Zhou's suspicious and probing eyes, Lu Ting poured some water into his glass to cover up his embarrassment.

Fang Heng also held a cup of water and took the opportunity to observe Tang An.

"I still have a bottle of good wine here." Tang An felt uncomfortable from being stared at and said to Xi Wan, "I heard that sister-in-law likes to have a drink when she's in a good mood. I'll go get this bottle of wine now."

After saying that, Tang An left.
