When Bella left the dining table to receive a call, I knew my father will find it disrespectful. After all, he always hated it when something distracts him.

I am sure he was trying to pick on Bella's brain.

"Why would you choose some like her, I mean, she is so uncultured," Dad comments. I looked at him without saying a word. Why should answer? I don't owe him any explanation.

"You should have just picked one of the girls I choose for you," he voiced out his displeasure.

In response, I met his eyes "have you found your daughter?" I asked. Mum stared dagger at me. She must have been annoyed by my statements. Father on the other hand was surprised. 

I am sure he must have thought that I knew nothing about it. " why not focus your energy on finding her, instead of picking out a wife for me," I continue.
