Bab 50: Taking revenge

'...The grand duke was right.' The queen's words stamped Rose's assumption about the emperor protecting the queen. It wasn't that she didn't believe the grand duke, but it didn't hurt to fully confirm from the culprit herself.

'How unpleasant.' Feeling irritated, Rose watched as the queen's lady-in-waiting placed the queen's teacup on the serving cart. The pink-haired lady even went ahead to look more pitiful after her accusing words. Her eyes brimmed with tears, tempted to fall at any second.

Such an act made Rose to even feel more disgusted with the queen and also the emperor.

''Are you trying to say that his majesty is protecting the culprit, which is you, queen?'' Rose asked bluntly, not bothering to hide her words.
