Xiulan resigned on the weekend, and the next Monday, she appeared in Fu Ling's office dressed like a white-collar worker.

She looked smart as she walked towards Fu Ling's office with her heels making sounds when touched against the floor.

The Xiulan right now looked different from the one that used to work at the restaurant. She looked more professionally in her attire and standing in Fu Ling's company.

Since she wasn't going to work directly under Fu Ling, she just went to report herself to his office.

Fu Ling was sitting cross-legged on the recliner when Xiulan knocked and walked in.

"Good morning, Sir." She greeted. "I'm here to report to you on my first day of work."

Fu Ling gazed at her silently before adjusting his sitting position. "You look made for your new job. Good luck with your job, and I'm sure I can trust you to lead a team. If there is anything, you can always find your way to my office as a team leader."
