Fu Juan came out of her father's study, looking moodier than before.

Butler Li and Lanying could guess that all did not go well, given how she did not fail to hide her facial expression.

"Lanying, let's go!" Fu Juan took Lanying's hand and stormed off with her. When they got to their bedroom, Lanying tried to probe by asking questions, but Fu Juan chose not to give a straight reply.

"It looks like everyone is angry that I failed to tell them about you before today. Don't worry, I will settle this matter myself, you don't have to worry about it." Fu Juan said to her.

She was still unhappy with her family's reaction to her choice of life. She believed that they were being petty as she didn't have to explain her life to them before they can understand her.
