The next day, the Bai family confirmed the passing of their family's matriarch. The public moaned with them and looked forward to welcoming them back to burial their mother.

The next week, the Bai family returned to bury old Mrs. Bai. It was a given that some prominent families graced the burial ceremony, as the Bai's had no fight or disagreement with any of them before leaving.

Bai Jun ruining their reputation was the only thing that forced them to leave. 

As for Bai Jun, many speculated if she would attend her grandmother's burial, and some even messaged her, asking about it, but she totally snubbed them.

When the Fu family were asked if they had invited anyone from Bai Fen's family or either invited Bai Fen herself and Bai Jun, they said that they would not invite them, as they were no longer a part of the family.
