Baal, a proud general of the demon world, was defeated in battle and was taken by the human world's champion, the Golden Knight, Cain.
Baal was confused as to why he wasn't killed on the spot but wasn't just going to allow his pride to go down being a prisoner of war, he couldn't escape with the magic canceling collar around his neck and he couldn't break out of the chains he was put in.
So as an act to keep his pride, he wraps the chains around his neck and strangled himself to death.

On Earth, May 26, 20xx
A young man with half-black hair on the right, and half-white hair on the left. His hair was around neck length and he wore a pair of glasses over his heterochromatic eyes, the right being grey, and the left being black.
He was walking down the street, licking a lollipop, and his hands were placed in the pocket of his hoodie ignoring the weirded-out glances coming from people because he was wearing a hoodie on a hot summer day.
He listened to music on his headphones and was mostly unaware of the world around him.
This person was the great Demon General, Baal, reincarnated. He has all of his memories intact and some of his magic. His name in this life is Hansel and he is a twenty-one-year-old on his way to his godawful job as a grocery store cashier.

Hansel finished scanning. "Will that be all?" he asked in a monotone voice.
"Yes," the customer, a woman, said.
He raised an eyebrow at her. "So you are not going to add the jars of scented candles down as well?" he said looking at the woman's handbag.
The woman laughed slightly nervously. "I don't what you're talking about," she said looking around, but no one else was there with them.
"Whatever," Hansel said packing up everything she bought. "There's a line behind you so I don't have to expose, just pay and get out."
He sighed and checked his phone for the time. 'Ten minutes till closing time,' he thought and sighed heavily.
He looked up and the next person came in and he looked a bit weird. He had golden eyes with black hair and was wearing the uniform of a school nearby.
He simply dropped something on the countertop. It was a notebook. A single item. Quite rare for someone to buy one thing and not steal anything. 'Quite unusual eyes,' he thought.
He heard the boy mutter something. "Is something wrong?" he asked.
"It's surprising you don't recognize me," the boy said and Hansel realized time around them had stopped.
Just as Hansel was about to defend himself, several golden magic circles surrounded the both of them and Hansel recognized this spell.
"No, no, no!" he said, his aura flaring up a bit, but he was changed down with golden chains and soon a seal came up and the spell was completed.
The boy disappeared with his notebook and left the money for it and Hansel was in shock. He looked at the back of his hand and saw the seal of a servant.
'I was made into someone's familiar,' he thought in horror.

Hansel wanted to cry looking at the symbol behind his hand. "No," he said covering his face. He's been trying for hours to break out of the seal but failed miserably.
He was breathing heavily as he was exhausted from his endless effort.
So instead he sat on his bed, he then began to think rationally. So, the magic-user is obviously from his world, probably reincarnated like him. But who could he be?
The golden magic circle and aura told him he was proficient in light magic, he also knew him, which means he must have fought in the war. There were a few people who he knew used light magic, but he could only narrow it down to one person.
"The Golden Knight," he said then became angry. The Golden Knight is the title given to the person who managed to defeat him and kept him alive to be taken home as a prisoner of war.
He heard footsteps walking out and he stepped out of his room and saw his younger brother all dressed up and sneaking out. "Where to?" he asked leaning against the door and his arms were crossed.
His brother froze. He lived with his younger brother who moved in with him in his small after their parents were killed.
His brother sighed heavily. "Oh come on," he said in frustration.
"Where to?" Hansel asked once again but a bit more strict.
His brother's shoulders sank. "A party," he replied.
"Whose?"
"My girlfriend."
Hansel squints his eyes at him. "Who's picking you?"
"Neil."
"Bringing you back?"
When his brother, Jamie, didn't answer, he knew he wasn't planning on coming home. "Staying where?" he asked.
"My girlfriend's."
"Okay," Hansel replied.
His little brother was surprised by this. "Really?" he exclaimed in surprise. He wasn't expecting this response. He was expecting a cold and harsh 'no' from him.
"Don't make me change my mind," Hansel replied. "Just remember to come home smelling clean."
The only reason he's letting his brother is because if he sent him back to bed, he would try to sneak out again.
When his brother left, he sighed used a cloaking spell on himself, and left after his brother. Even though he's letting his brother go to a stupid party, there's no way he's letting him go alone.

Hansel watched as Jamie sat in a corner holding a cup of vodka mixed with beer. His arms were crossed as he watched his brother look at his girlfriend who was too busy drunkenly grinding against some handsome stranger.
"They are most definitely going to break up," he muttered.
"Most definitely," a familiar voice said in agreement.
Hansel turned slowly and saw the boy smiling at him. "Hey," he said. Hansel doesn't waste time jumping back, but he slipped on a sweaty shirt that was thrown to the ground by a drunk.
He was caught by the boy and held on a tight grip. "Let go of me," he demanded struggling to get out but the grip was strong.
The boy had a smile on his face. "I won't let you escape this," he said then kissed him.
Hansel's eyes widened in surprise. 'What is this?' he screamed in his mind.
