Bab 113: Three Killers and an Andreas (POVs)

Andreas sat across from Lady Iris with a smile, the woman shifting uncomfortably and looking rather unwell.

He knew he was being rude. While he usually conformed to etiquette for his personal benefit—people got so antsy if one acted unexpectedly—there was no need to observe such empty polite gestures for a woman who tried to assassinate the young heir to Basilea.

Honestly, this was the issue of Tellus family members that married in. 

People said the Tellus blood bred insanity, hence the fresh blood often brought in, but Andreas was inclined to think everyone else was insane instead.

What else could hurting a family member be but madness?

Ah. Humans… such animals that think themselves kings and queens.

"Lord Andreas, I don't—"

Andreas shushed the bait, his eyes trailing to a corner of the room where he thought he felt something stare at him.
