If this final effort to find out how in the world Countess Ophelia Marcel kept on getting repeatedly cursed failed, they would take the noblewoman away and Baldroy Harloch would win this round.

Instinctively, Brunilda already knew which way the Judgment would fall if she were to ever use her abilities on the man.
