Bab 126: The Sword and the Shield

Evan's speed was incredible, he was able to inflict a serious wound on the Ogre in a second.

Whoosh.

The Ogre swung its arm trying to grab Evan, but the young man was much faster. Evan easily dodged the Ogre's massive palm, and the next moment there was a wide cut on the monster's neck. Evan was already on the other shoulder, staring predatorily at the Ogre's frostbitten wound.

The monster was in a bad position, it was big and strong, but that was why it couldn't do anything to Evan. The young man climbed on top of its body and there was simply no way the Ogre could physically reach him, it wasn't flexible enough to do so.

"That Ogre is finished, it's amazing, this guy was the only one who could deal with it so easily. It turns out that these monsters aren't that strong?" Said the man in the silver mantle.
