Bab 61: the one and only

ONCE THEY BOTH STEP OUT OF THE TAXI, they are met with bright lights and loud music, partnered with the excited squeals from the college students as they all walk around; from booth to booth.

Aubrey quickly pays the taxi driver, apologizing for keeping him waiting before she turns to stare in delight at how beautiful the festival is; Activities at every corner of the school's field, making people laugh.

She looks up to see the school's banner reading—

'WELCOME TO THE MID-BAYERN FESTIVAL'

"Wow. This looks fun." Brady comments.

A small smile appears on her lips, forgetting her recent troubles and she is about to take a step forward when her eyes drop on her dress. The lights from the booths around makes her green floral dress look better and it makes the color pop. However, that is not the reason she pauses in her steps.

She can feel a change in the environment, similar to the feeling she gets whenever the gods are around.
