Kai, on the other hand seems interested, as he drops the wipes and leans into the conversation with his usual smirk.

Aubrey gets irritated by his mere presence. He was never her co-worker and there is no reason for him to be standing here beside her. She doesn't want to speak or lay eyes on him especially after killing her brother.

"Excuse me?" Aubrey asks, confused.

"I heard you murmuring something about Dandelions." The woman responds, calmly folding her hands to keep her brown handbag closer to her body.

Kai seems to be enjoying the interaction as he smiles, looking between his missing piece and the customer.

"So, do you like them?"

"Uh, not really." Aubrey tries to dodge the question and she can feel Kai's temper from where she is stood. "Would you like a caffe latte or a latte macchiato? Or do you have a specific—"
