From atop a crumbling building, a lone figure stared out at a deserted village, the once thriving community now lay in ruins, its buildings reduced to unrecognizable debris, and an eerie emptiness pervaded its streets, infested with countless sea demons.

This ill-fated village, situated near the sea, fell victim to a relentless horde of sea demon’s that had attacked, unable to withstand the onslaught and lacking the support of any nearby city, the villagers were swiftly and easily defeated.

The sea demons descended upon the village, ravaging and devouring its inhabitants without mercy, sparing no one, not even the innocent children.

The devastating consequences extended beyond this village that the neighbouring villages, alarmed by the sea demons’ rampage, chose to abandon their homes, seeking refuge in the safety of the cities nearby, left unchecked, the sea demons roamed the scant remaining village regions, establishing their reign of terror.
