Bab 124: The Ger's Happy Place Pt.1

Xu Feng, with a lantern in hand, made his way from the bustling kitchen to the back side of the tranquil courtyard. The walk wasn't too far, but even with one of his padded jackets to protect against the cold, the chill of the early morning air would have still sent shivers down his spine. 

In his haste to prepare breakfast after spending time searching for his precious 50 tael seeds, Xu Feng had settled for a simple yet good looking cloak that was included in his dowry.

It wasn't as fancy as the fur coats he had received, so it was a better option to wear around the estate.

The cloak wasn't as warm as his padded jacket, but it was much more exquisite. As he moved through the courtyard with grace, his form was adorned with the ethereal glow of what seemed to be luminescent pearls or tiny fairies guiding his path.
