Bab 166: A Cranky Ger

Xu Feng cocooned himself in his blankets, twisting and turning until he resembled a human burrito, his thoughts winding toward the distant memory of a burrito he hadn't savored in far too long. 

Maybe a zongzi or a burrito should be on his cooking agenda soon. In the background, the birds serenaded the spring air as Xu Feng gazed into the void.

In the middle of the picturesque spring setting, a world infused with the spirit of the season, Xu Feng found himself still in a complex emotional state, feeling both undesired or unlovable and yearning for affection all at the same time.

The setting was vibrant, teeming with signs of spring love. The birds sang in pairs, chasing each other as the twitted back and forth to their friends, family, and lovers. Yet within him lurked a sense of being both small—small but still a big ger—and needy, a massive zongzi lost in a vast world full of unknowns.
