Bab 145: The serenade of the night

Those all still played in his head vividly if he wanted to recall how his wife looked when she was asleep, as he did not sleep immediately during the nights he shared the bed with her.

Rather than closing his eyes to surrender to the deep slumber, despite his sleepiness, he spent more hours familiarizing himself with the woman who had made him choose her as his wife.

Besides, it was the first time he could miraculously spend time in bed together with her, considering that she desperately tried to get rid of him and be away from him. Hence, he wanted to enjoy every moment of the miracle bestowed upon him.

Because of that, he could tell how she looked and breathed when she was asleep. And those were the same when he found those states on her a few moments ago when she slept, laying her head on his shoulder in the carriage that brought them to this inn.

Her shoulders were not tense, and her breath was relaxed.
