A miraculous sight unfolded. The massive blue aura split open slightly at Alex's strike. The Sky Serpent Dragon, half of its body still submerged in the void, let out an enraged roar, shocked by the impossible turn of events. But it was helpless as its own devastating attack rebounded, engulfing its massive form. The beast's enormous body disintegrated in an instant.

A deafening explosion followed. Everything caught in the blue energy—monsters, clouds, even the mountaintop—was obliterated. The once black thunderclouds were scattered, and a chunk of the towering peak was completely sliced off by the blast. The echo of the explosion reverberated for miles, and the pillar of blue light shooting into the sky could be seen across half of East Sea City.

With that in mind, Alex chose to begin the trial. Instantly, he was transported into a void, a space where time, sound, gravity, and everything else ceased to exist.
It was only when a blue-green creature materialized that Alex felt a deep, primal fear. The presence of this being was far more terrifying than the massive Sky Serpent Dragon he had just fought.
