Matt is just another kid who lived in Knowhere after Xandar was destroyed by Thanos.
Adopted by the Guardians of the Galaxy, he has been in their care for many years, but now they must separate for a while, so Matt must stay at the home of a certain web-head.
If the group had known how powerful Matt would become, they surely wouldn't have left him out of such a crucial mission for the fate of Earth.

Really impossible not to like so far, because it is with an excellent script and develops the whole world very well. I can't wait to see Matt kill some hero, because I don't think it's going to take long for that to happen.

I can easily say that this is the best fanfic I've ever read. The script is very good, the characters too and the protagonist is human, in a way that you can perceive their qualities and defects. No more words, very good!
