Bab 14: 14: Close enemy
After the coronation, Mira,questions Mable whether she is ready to take on the position when she abandoned her training two years ago," My friend am worried and concerned, you have not trained for the past three years how will you lead the village warriors to a battle"
Mable tells Mira it doesn't matter, she'll handle everything, Mira tries to reason with Mable but she pays no heed. Unknown to the girls, Mr Asim overhears the conversation and comes up with a plan to ruin Mable's rule as village head.
Mr Asim goes to the neighbouring village to see Mark, he sweet talks Mark, convincing Mark that he is on their side and forcing him to attack at an unexpected time,"good evening, Mark, I am from Riswan's village but trust me when I tell you that am not on his side, I have hated Riswan for a long time because he thinks so highly of himself and his daughter has such guts"
Mark smirks and asks Mr Asim what he wants from him," I like your spirit Mr Asim, we can work hand in hand to make sure Riswan and his daughter see come to a downfall, so what do you suggest I do?"
Mr Asim tells Mark to attack soon because Mable is weak to fight back as she has not trained in a while.
Mark assures Mr Asim he would do just that," don't worry my friend I will do as you ask,and I am giving you my word, I will make you my best advisor when I take over the village, hahaha!"
A month later,Riswan is still in a comma but is showing improvement towards recovery. Mable goes to her father's room to check on him,she seats beside his bed to talk to him," father I came here to see you, the doctor says you are showing improvement and am happy, but am so sad because you haven't started talking yet and you can't move but I strongly believe that you will heal completely because you are a warrior " Mable takes Riswan's hand and kisses it. Just then, one of the village warriors by the name of Ishan,quickly comes to the house and insists he must see Mable as there is trouble. He goes into the room where Mable is and the rest of the family follows him," Mable madam, there is fire on the mountain... Mark and his men are fast approaching"
Mable tells the family to be safe and that am will lead the men to war. As she is about to leave Mira quickly follows her," Mable are you sure you can do this, maybe you should retreat "
Mable gets angry at Mira, " you don't trust me right OK,I don't need it, you believe in fighting with hands but guns help too, I am going to war with my men and we will be victorious"
Mable and the men go to the battle field where they meet Mark and his men. The battle begins and it seems Mark and his warriors are on the winning side. Ishan tells Mable there is no chance of winning the battle so they should retreat but Mable refuses to do so and insists the fight must go on. But unfortunately for Mable and her men,Mark wins the battle as then too good at fighting unlike Mable and her men who are dependent on guns. When Mark wins the war,he asks his chief warrior to bring Mable and throw her at his feet which he does, Mark starts to mock Mable, " you are a woman without action, you came to my house to threaten me,I must tell I've heard that you make people bow at your feet but now you are at my feet,you let your village, family and father down, this village is now mine!"
