Bab 205: Damon F**king Steel (1)

Esme dashed back out of the room as quickly as she came in. She sprinted as fast as she could, all rational thoughts flying out of her mind. The she-wolf knew the group of creatures saw her, but nothing mattered at this point. Her body had gone into 'flight mode' the moment she saw Damon Steel. 

Now was not the time to panic. Damon saw her, but she was too quick for him to properly see her. The Alpha wouldn't recognise her in a one-second moment. But just as that thought crossed her mind, the sound of footfall chasing after her made her turn her head to see the damned Alpha King of the northern packs hot on her tail. She reached for the door to exit the penthouse only to collide into a hard chest. 

Esme looked up at Gabriel, her chest heaving in anger from him stopping her path. But he was also glaring at her. At her?! Why?!

"What are you doing?!" She exclaimed and bit her tongue after hearing the panic in her voice.
