Bab 19: Nineteen, Little Daogu, murderous intent arises

Little Daogu met the General again while he was fending off ghosts attempting to breach the protective barrier.

It was a vulture that had grown by feasting on the dead and later fed on souls after becoming a spirit. Thousands of Fierce Ghosts were imprisoned beside it, under its command.

Its target was the ghosts within the protective shield.

The General wielded a long spear. Though brave, he was ultimately outnumbered.

She led the Fierce Ghosts left by the snake man to help him hold back a group of ghosts.

As the chilly wind blew by, the General turned his head and saw a woman with a veiled face.

She acted decisively, with a mere wave of her hand she killed several Red Fierce Ghosts.

After the enemy was repelled, she left.

The General wanted to follow her, but the protective barrier was dangerously close to failing, so as he hurried to repair it, he could only watch her walk away.
