Bab 248: Jealous Uncle

While the children were busy planning on how to reunite their parents, Jason was busy throwing a tantrum at his girlfriend's place.

Sitting on the couch, a troubled expression on his face, Jason sighed for the upteenth time, finally catching Cheryl's attention.

"What's with the long face, Jason? Trouble at work or did you lose a bet?" she teased.

"I wouldn't complain if it was any of those," Jason spat out.

Cheryl paused in her act of tidying up the apartment.

"Can you calm down and tell me why you are this angry on a wonderful night like this?" Cheryl asked, a concerned look etched on her beautiful face as she sat beside Jason.

"Can you believe that those children have the guts to abandon me the moment their father came calling?"

After all these years, he had always thought that no one would be able to take his place in their lives but he got the greatest shock of his life these few weeks.
