The doorbell rang, and Mark rushed towards the door, thinking it was Alice and she was ringing the bell because she didn't know the passcode of the house.

But as soon as he got to the door, he stopped and then composed himself, so it wouldn't look like he had been waiting for her all along.

He then opened the door, only for him to see who was at the door and frown.

"What are you doing here?"

Alice walked into the building, bobbing her head happily since she had picked up a few chicken drumsticks on her way back.

There were a lot of late-night chicken joints, but since she didn't have any money, she was worried she wouldn't be able to get anything to eat. So, she decided to trade one of the valuable items in her ring for food.

However, they did not believe that she would give out something valuable just for a few drumsticks and thought she was a scammer. She was also asked to show her awakeneds badge, which she didn't have.
