Yan Heng instructed Xuanyuan Que to wait for him at Tianxiang Tower, then excused himself from the Ruo Family, leaving in a hurry without even eating his meal.

In the main hall, Madam Zhou saw a waiter bringing Ruo Shui in and thought she had misunderstood Madam Liu.

Then she saw Yan Heng stride out in a hurried manner.

The two passed by each other without greeting.

It was clear that they did not know each other!

What mattered most was that after they brushed past each other, Yan Heng turned back to glance at Ruo Shui.

That meant that the adulterous Madam Liu did recognize Ruo Shui, but Ruo Shui did not recognize him; presumably, he had left in a hurry because he knew Ruo Shui had arrived.
