Bab 62: Weary

I stepped back inside my home, my thoughts and heart heavy with everything I had learned. I looked to the floor beneath my feet, still unable to comprehend the horror. Earth, this realm that was home to so many lives and races, was nothing more than a dinner bell for the Creator. A meal waiting to be consumed if they ever were to wake up from their seal.

I turned to the door, thinking about the bright day that was starting beyond it. Had this only been possible because of Cerviel and her love for Torrith and their daughters? How had she managed to seal the Creator away? A part of me wanted to return to Ambrose but I shook my head. She would want a price and I had no doubt it wasn't a price I wanted to pay.
