"Last point please. You also set her indoor slippers in the doorway like you always did, and it was Miss Hazel who retrieved it. From your actions, it showed that you miss her!"

"Esther, that is not me missing her. I am simply doing what I was used to doing, and who taught you this anyway?" Ethan asked, finding it hard to maintain a firm expression in face of his daughter's cute expression.

Esther laughed, a low one as she still didn't want to annoy her father.
