A blinding light covered the room.
Instinctively, I covered my eye's.
When the light cleared, I couldn't believe my eyes.
There was a man clad in golden light standing opposite of me.
He was extremely tall and had a chiseled face that made me jealous.
With hair that looked like star's glittering in the night sky, he was by far the most beautiful person I'd ever seen.
That man glanced around the arena before he spotted me.
"Seems like this is my opponent this time." He said nonchalantly.
Judging from his form, he was quite the formidable opponent.
With two hands wielding a greatsword which he placed in front of him, the pressure was extremely immense.
I gulped, this would be a hard fight but I could still win this.
Year's of being a thief had honed my perception to the human limit and with my ability, I have a chance.
I just have to dodge and split his blade.
[The God Of The Arena is watching over you]
What?
I thought gods rarely show themselves.
Why would they appear now?
[The God Of The Arena claps his hands bringing forth the spectators]
Suddenly, an influx of people were now sitting on the stands.
[The God Of Death has arrived]
[The God Of Reversal has arrived]
[The God Of Worlds has arrived]
[The Goddess Of Light has arrived]
[The God Of Dreams has arrived]
[The Goddess Of Fortune has arrived]
[The Goddess Of Envy has arrived]
[The God Of Trickery has arrived]
[The God Of Blood has arrived]

…
That's a lot of gods, was this a form of entertainment for them?
Gritting my teeth, I thought angrily, "These gods have obviously never suffered, so why should I fight for their entertainment?"
The gods all looked at me with surprise.
Why were they looking at me like that?
"What a fool."
"Did he not notice he said that out loud?"
"Is he not afraid to be smited by us?"
While this was happening, an unknown god smiled.
"Finally, I have found someone to pass on my power."
