Isabelle sat in the car, watching the trees and traffic blur past, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Michael..."

She felt abandoned.

Since Joshua had appeared, everything had taken a strange turn.

Molly's grandma's death had indeed prompted Molly to quit, but Michael had changed, starting to care for Molly more than ever.

No, she couldn't let this continue.

"Lucy, didn't I tell you to come up with a way to embarrass her? Why did she come out so confidently?"

After a pause, an angry reply came: "You tell me! Why didn't you mention her relationship with my cousin Damian? Do you know that today, I was almost humiliated?"

Isabelle's fury surged.

Isabelle had originally planned to use Lucy to embarrass Molly, ensuring that even if Molly ended up with Michael, she would lose face.

But unexpectedly, this backfired, benefiting Molly instead!
